Steamed Rice Roll (Chee Cheong Fun) 猪肠粉

Bit Bit had a craving for the sweetness and saltiness of chee cheong fun today. Since Pig had already bought the rice rolls from the market, Bit Bit decided to make chee cheong fun for dinner. However, chee cheong fun does not really have much nutrients since it is made mostly of rice flour, so Bit Bit added hot dog sausage together with the chee cheong fun.

The chee cheong fun took about 15 minutes to finish cooking, including preparation of ingredients.

Things that Bit Bit found out about making chee cheong fun:
  • Chee cheong fun is a very versatile dish. One can add almost any other ingredients to the cheong fun according to their taste.
  • Other than sweet sauce, chee cheong fun with sambal belachan chilli is also very delicious.
  • Chee cheong fun tastes better when eaten warm.

Ingredients that Bit Bit used for Chee Cheong Fun:
  1. Fresh Rice Roll - 1 Piece
  2. Hot Dog Sausage - 1 Piece
  3. Ready-made Sweet Sauce - 1 Tbsp
  4. Water - 1.5 Tbsp

Method that Bit Bit used to make Chee Cheong Fun:

  2. Cut the hot dog sausage into half, from head to bottom.
