Food Tasting : Daiso Menno Sunaoshi China Soba with Soup 支那そば

Bit Bit suddenly got hungry in the middle of the night, and instead of eating snacks, Bit Bit wanted to eat something that is filling and not sweet. Therefore, Bit Bit decided to eat the Menno Sunaoshi China Soba with Soup 支那そば that was bought a few days back.

Method that Bit Bit used to cook the Shina Soba:
  1. Bring a pot of water to boil.
  2. Add in the noodles and cook till soft and chewy.
  3. Remove the noodles and pour away the water.
  4. Bring about 400ml of water to boil and add in the cooked noodles.
  5. Add in the soup base packet provided.
  6. Simmer for a minute.
  7. Serve and slurp up the noodles.

The shoyu ramen is done!

The soup base is shoyu flavoured, so remember to add more water else it may get quite salty. The noodles are also salty on its own. Though Bit Bit has a high tolerance to saltiness and likes eating instant noodles with thick soup concentration, it is actually slightly overwhelming for Bit Bit. Otherwise, the soup tastes yummy and Bit Bit does not really feel thirsty after finishing the noodles.

The noodles are soft and chewy. It may look little when it is dried, but actually it is very filling and very suitable for males. Bit Bit felt full after eating 3/4 of the noodles.

Although it is ramen, the noodles are low in calories as compared to other ramen. It is highly recommended for those who are on a diet but also craves for ramen.

To make it more nutritious, add a boiled egg, some steamed vegetables and lean meat slices. For flavour, eat it with red chilli padi.

This dish is not suitable for vegetarians though.
