It is dinner time again, and Bit Bit found some baby spinach and egg tofu in the fridge. So Bit Bit decided to make a dish which Bit Bit had been thinking of making for a long time, and it is horenso no ohitashi.
This dish took about 20 minutes only.
Things that Bit Bit found out about horenso no ohitashi:
- This dish is very healthy and low in calories, as the spinach is boiled and no oil is used.
- Bonito flakes added a lot of flavour to the spinach, and makes it even more yummy.
- Bit Bit added some egg tofu to decorate the spinach and also to add some protein.
- This boiled spinach is actually suitable for vegetarians, by sprinkling sesame seeds over the spinach instead of bonito flakes.
